I contacted Chanticleer Gardens a couple of years ago on behalf of a client and literally – Fell. In. LOVE!
Back then it was nothing like it is now and I’m so glad I was able to see how it’s progressed into something more spectacular than before. One of the features of this venue was this wooden wall covered in vintage mirrors. I thought it was so unique that I had to do a styled shoot here.
To complement the wooden wall and the surrounding trees, I wanted to keep the design quite simple and elegant with hints of rustic furniture. I decided that doing classic greenery with white florals and touches of gold metals would work so well in this space. From there, I chatted with our florist, Michelle, and decided to create a floral runner that flows off either side to give a softer look to the wood. We also wanted the florals to be the centerpiece of this design and so we also kept the tableware to a minimum. For a touch of rustic elements, we added a dark wooden table and some light, white washed bentwood chairs to even out the design. Our end result is absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to do more weddings like this!
The best part of this shoot was working with some truely amazing vendors though! So if you do love our work, please go ahead and give their business a follow. Their tags are below. I promise you, you won’t regret hiring them for your next event!
