Russell and Nicole’s WEDDING

Russell and Nicole’s WEDDING

It was such a treat to work with Rusty and Nikki on their beautiful Burnham Grove Estate wedding. From the get-go, Nikki and Rusty knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding which made working with them so easy.

They wanted a very rustic romantic feel whilst keeping everything feeling intimate. So Rusty ended up designing and creating (from scratch) a lot of the wooden touches. He did the heptagon archway, the matching heptagon sign holder, all the groomsmen’s bow ties, the ring boxes, the wooden heptagon wedding invitations, the heptagon tea bonboniere tags and even the cake topper. Was there nothing this man couldn’t do?! Haha. Rusty is a designer by trade and was having the time of his life designing these unique and important pieces for the wedding. We then added blush pinks and gold accents to give the styling a romantic, sweet yet elegant feel – something that was really important to Nikki. We chose gold cutlery with gold rimmed glasses and plates to complement the blush pink/dusty rose stunning blooms by Michelle from Floral Story Design.

They also wanted to keep things quite short and fun, so we decided to do a lunch time wedding. We started the ceremony at 12pm and started lunch around 2pm with a spit roast buffet. They were able to have an extended lunch with their friends and family before being whisked off to do intimate sunset photos around 5:30pm. Which Jerry nailed on the head – have a sneak peek below!
